This website is strictly for the usage of people with the legal drinking age in the country of residence.
This website is owned by VM Targets Ltd (“We”, “Us” or “VM Targets Ltd”). We are providing you with access to this Site and our online store (together, our “Services”) subject to the following terms and conditions.
By browsing, accessing, using, registering for or purchasing goods on this Site, you are agreeing to all of the following terms and conditions, including any policies referred to herein (collectively, these “Terms”). So, please read these Terms carefully. We reserve the right to change this website and these Terms at any time. If you are unwilling to be bound by these Terms‚ you should not browse, access‚ use‚ register for or purchase merchandise from the website. 

DATA PROTECTION AND PRIVACY POLICY 
Our Privacy and Data Protection Policy governs your visit to Our Site. 
All users can be assured that we are fully committed to protect your privacy. Should we require certain information and details by which the visitors can be identified when using this website, then all users can remain assured that these will be exclusively used in accordance with this privacy statement.

ORDERS
All orders are deemed to be accepted once checked and processed by ourselves. The minimum order amount is of £500.00 or €600.00 (VAT, duties and delivery charges excluded). At our discretion, we may accept orders below the minimum amount. The placing and accepting of oral orders shall form a contract on these terms. Written confirmation of all orders will be delivered in an invoice prior to payment. 
All goods are subject to availability and VM Targets Ltd reserves the right to impose quantity limits on any order, to entirely or partially reject an order and to discontinue products or services without notice. All prices are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order placed for goods, which the sale of such in your country/state or jurisdiction is restricted or prohibited. 

TRADE SALES
All wines are sold Ex-Works (London City Bond), in compliance with the UK, international Customs, VAT and Duties regulations. VM Targets Ltd cannot be liable for any administrative complication that might occur during the importing or exporting of wines to a different country. 

PRICES
Unless otherwise expressly noted, all prices stated on our website are exclusive of all duties, Value Added Tax (VAT) and delivery charges. Prices are subject to our final confirmation and can either be quoted in EUR or GBP currencies. We reserve the right to change our prices. We will keep prices as up to date as possible on our website. 

PAYMENT
Payments are due upon invoice, unless stipulated otherwise. All payments are due to be made in the currency stated on the invoice. Our preferred payment method is bank transfer; we also accept UK cheques (Please allow 7 working days for cheques to be cleared and for security reason we reserve the right to refuse cheque payments). 
We shall be entitled to suspend deliveries/collections and cancel the order if the full payment is not processed within 4 weeks of the due date (or any extended period of time which might be agreed between Us and the buyer); 
We will account to our customers for any cash balance held after discharging all outstanding invoices. 
We shall be entitled to resell the goods by a method entirely in our discretion if these are not collected or delivery instructions are not given within three months (90 days) of availability notification of the goods. The customer will receive a written notice of 7 days, after which VM Targets Ltd shall take action and proceed with this Term, unless the customer specifically requests to store the wines at cost on his behalf for an extended period of 12 months from the date of the invoice. Storage and administration fees currently are £15.00 + VAT per case per annum (subject to variations). If the goods remain undelivered or uncollected after the cumulative period of 12 months, VM Targets Ltd shall be entitled to resell or retain possession of the goods. 

DELIVERIES CHARGES
Deliveries to UK mainland will be offered on orders of £500.00/€600.00 or above (Please note: this offer excludes certain postcodes in the Scottish Highlands and Islands, the Isle of Scilly, the Isle of Wight and Northern Ireland.) Orders below £500.00/€600.00 are subject to a delivery charge of £15.00+VAT for up to 10 cases and £1.50+VAT per additional case (subject to variations). IB (In Bond) transfers are free of charge to all LCB (London City Bond) accounts. Transfers to any other UK bonded warehouse are subject to the same delivery charges. 
International deliveries are at cost. Please contact us for a custom quotation. We will be pleased to request quotes on your behalf and organize the shipping for you, or introduce you directly to reliable and highly regarded shipping agents. 

DELIVERIES
Unless differently agreed, we will only deliver the goods upon full payment from the buyer. Deliveries to post office boxes will not be accepted. The goods can only be delivered to physical addresses. 
We will do our best to have the wines ready for delivery generally in 48 hours upon receipt of full payment. However, any indication of delivery dates are to be considered only estimates and not intended as to be contractually binding. You must give us at least 48 hours prior notice of collection. 

GOODS ACCEPTANCE AND CUSTOMER OBLIGATIONS 
The Client is obliged to inspect the goods immediately upon receipt and to notify us or the carrier of any damage or shortage within 24 hours from receipt of the goods, after which period of time it will be deemed to have occurred after being delivered to the customer. 
The Client can request to have the goods insured in transit; the costs of such insurance shall be payable by the Client. For any information concerning transport insurance you can send us an email to info@shoppingwines.com or contact us on +44 (0) 20 8 123 1010. 

TITLE
VM Targets Ltd is entitled to retain possession of any good until the full amount due for payment is received.

DUTIES AND VAT
IMPORTANT NOTIFICATION – The UK Government announced some changes to the Alcohol Duty System which took effect from the 1st August 2023.
The duty is now based on the alcohol content and therefore increases the fee on goods with the higher ABV% and decreases it on the lower ABV% goods.
A temporary exception applies for the period between the 1st August 2023 to the 1st February 2025 to all wines (including Sparkling wine) with an alcohol content between 11.5% and 14.5% ABV, which will have the duty charged as if it is 12.5% ABV.

Also note that, differently from the previous duty rates, sparkling wine will be treated as still wine and it will see a reduction of £2.28 (ex.VAT) per case of 12 bottles (12x75cl).

Duty on goods above 22% ABV will vary depending on % of alcohol content.

The table below illustrates the changes applied based on the ABV%. 

Please note that VAT will apply on duty charges shown above. The current UK VAT rate is 20%.
All rates are subject to annual increases. Where a customer has paid duty in advance and wines are subsequently cleared from bond at a higher rate, we reserve the right to pass on this increase.

GOODS QUALITY CONTROL
VM Targets Ltd makes every effort to ensure that the quality of the wines we sell complies with the code of condition we severely adhere to. We are very rigid in selecting the provenance of all the wines we offer and concerned about their storage condition. As a result quality and condition issues rarely occur. Therefore, with no obligations, it will be at complete discretion of VM Targets Ltd to consider the replacement of the goods. 

VM Targets Ltd cannot guarantee that wines will always show at their best. Despite of the opinions or beliefs, the ageing and maturation can affect wines in different ways and we will not be liable for subjective judgments such as quality or drinkability. All wines are sold as seen and for old vintages we will not accept returns should these be exhausted, corked or contaminated in any way. We are not responsible for condition and state of wine or whether the wine does not correspond to the qualities, which could possibly be expected from its description. 

FORCE MAJEURE
VM Targets Ltd will not be liable for any failure to meet our obligations occasioned by circumstances beyond our reasonable control. 

JURISDICTION
All contracts are subject to English law and jurisdiction. All wines are offered subject to market movement and remaining unsold. We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions from time to time without prior notice. You should check this page from time to time to ensure that you are satisfied with any change that may have occurred.
